The form-Sushruta Sanha with its commentators Dalhanacharya (twelfth century AD), amendment by Nagarjuna. The original Sushruta-Sanha based on a series of conferences between Divodas Kashiraj (or Dhanvantari) and his disciples, Sushruta and others.

Europe in the fifteenth century, a man by the name of Heinrich von Pfolspeundt, a German doctor and member of the Order of Teutonic Knights is one of the first Europeans known to have plastic surgery. From Italy we have records indicating that in the year 1442, Branca, a surgeon of Catania in Sicily, nose plastic surgery, also known as nose surgery, a flap of skin from his face. This procedure is very similar to that described in the Sushruta-Sanha, a summary Ayurvedic completed in the first centuries of the Christian era. However, because a lot of danger in times of surgery, cosmetic surgery is rarely done until about 1900. The United States first plastic surgeon was Dr. John Peter Mettauer, born in Virginia in 1787, which in 1827 made the first record with a maximum gap of instruments he designed.

There are two very broad fields of cosmetic surgery history, cosmetic surgery history and reconstructive surgery. reconstructive surgery, including microsurgery, focuses on the destruction or masking the destructive effects of trauma, previous surgery or disease. Examples of such transactions reconstruction of amputated or damaged arms or legs, lips or cleft lip repair, badly formed noses and ears, and breast reconstruction after mastectomy. Cosmetic surgery, however, is an elective surgery, usually done more for aesthetic reasons and not to repair the damaged area. In many cases, however, there are medical reasons to have more procedures done, such as breast reduction (for back pain relief) and Mastopexy (also known as breast lift ") Aesthetic Surgery. Including, but not limited to, abdominoplasty , or wrap "stomach", blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery, breast augmentation, or "breast" and Rhytidectomy, or "lifting".
